[Sharing on behalf of Arizona Yacht Club]Ahoy! The Arizona Yacht Club invites you to its 67th Birthday Regatta and Charity Benefit, “Pleasant Days and Pleasant Nights”, coming in February of 2025 at Lake Pleasant, Arizona.Once again, we will be hosting our Annual Birthday Regatta for Charity, our 67th, this year on February 14-16, 2025. We welcome your members to come sail in Arizona with us. So, please mark your calendars for racing and parties among the saguaros, coyotes, and ocotillos on the 20 square mile Lake Pleasant, just 45 minutes northwest of Phoenix. This event will provide a fabulous taste of desert sailing, usually with warm days, fresh breezes, and a desert wilderness vibe that no other regatta can match. This year we plan to host about 80 boats, including the Santana 20 Midwinters, along with ILCA, Sunfish, Buccaneer 18, MC Scow, J-24, Catalina 22, Flying Junior, PHRF Spin and Non-spin, Portsmouth and Multi-hull fleets. We will be "raising more than a sail" for two great organizations, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
