Off the water, Denver Sailing Association hosts social events for membership and Colorado sailors to enjoy our vibrate community. The sailing season (April – October), starts with a crew mixer where skippers and crew can meet and coordinate for the upcoming series races and regattas. Though the spring and summer, social sails allow members to have fun on the water in a non-competitive outing as well as introduce those new to sailing to the sport in a hands on experience. At the end of the season, the club hosts a semi-formal End of Year Awards Banquet that includes food and the gifting of series racing and perpetual awards. Not forgetting the rest of the year, the club members have a get together once a month to keep in touch during the off season.
