The 2024 Colorado sailing season is upon us! If you are interested in joining the racing community on Cherry Creek Reservoir; this event is a great way to get involved and make some new connections.
We will be at Yak and Yeti Restaurant for an ALL YOU CAN EAT Indian and Nepalese buffet from 6-9pm on Wednesday April 3rd. (Each person is expected to pay for their own food and beverages)
There will be a private room filled with your fellow sailors. DSA will be welcoming new members and connecting our existing members with new crew.

The Denver Sailing Association (DSA), as the organizing authority (OA), will conduct the 2024 Rocky Mountain Shootout/Hornblower Regatta on Cherry Creek Reservoir, Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora, CO on May 18 – 19, 2024.
The Shootout Regatta is open to Keelboats. One Design Keelboat fleets with four (4) or more entries will be recognized as a class. Anticipated classes are Santana 20s, J22, and PHRF.
The Hornblower Regatta is open to non-self-righting boats (Dinghies). One Design Dinghy fleets with four (4) or more entries will be recognized as a class. Anticipated classes are Lightning, Melges 15, Laser, and Portsmouth.

Participant Goodie: Bjorn’s Colorado Honey is a small-batch, local honey producer based in Boulder, Colorado. They offer American honey, CBD honey and CBD skincare, plus European made, bee-based skincare featuring beeswax, honey and propolis. We’ve got honey stick samples of their wildflower blossom, clover blossom, and California orange blossom honey as well as recipe cards for some sweet inspiration.

Regatta Registration
Fees for the Rocky Mountain Shootout/Hornblower Regatta are $100 for boats greater than 17 feet in length ($90 for current DSA Members) and $80 for boats 17 feet or less in length ($70 for current DSA Members). These fees must be paid prior to May 12th, 2024. Fees and registrations received after May 12th, 2024, are subject to a $30 late fee. Junior fees (age 18 and under) are $35.00 with no late fee.
Early online registration is open through the buttons below until midnight Sunday May 12th, 2024. After this, on-site registration will be available at the DSA Clubhouse during the event’s registration/check times.

Saturday Dinner Tickets
We will have a taco bar dinner after Saturday’s races catered by Venalonzo’s Tacos, voted Best Tacos in the 2024 Denver Taco Tournament by The Denver Gazette readers. Tickets are $20 per person and will include food + drinks.
Ticket sales are CLOSED. Only a limited number will be available day of.
